To make a collar dog bandana you will need:
|
Fold the fabric in half diagonally and press. Lay the fabric infront of you, right side down, with one point facing you, the fabric should be a diamond shape. Fold in the top and bottom corners this will make the channel for the collar so you need to bring in the sides enough to make the flat edge as wide as yours dogs collar plus a bit more. Press and pin these flaps.
Sew along the edges of the flaps, back stitching at the start and finish. |
Fold the square in half right sides together and align the points, press and pin. Sew along the two angled sides back stitching at the start and end. Do not sew the smaller straight edges as these form the channel for the collar. |
Trim any excess from around the point. Turn the bandana inside out by pulling the point through one of the collar channel ends. Press and you're done. |
