Check with your campsite first to make sure they accept dogs and if there restrictions on number,breed or size and how much do they charge. Many dog-friendly campsites will have exercising areas, check if your dog has to be kept on a lead. Look for dog-friendly attractions for you to visit during your stay. If its your dogs first time camping they'll probably be excited, try to keep to a routine, going for toilet breaks first thing in the morning and before you go to bed. You might consider taking some wind breaks to create a sort of garden and give privacy. If you and your have been exploring all day they'll probably sleep all night too.
